    Welcome

For the 2025 - 2026 school year, with the exception of Grades 5 and 6, Satoo School is full in planned classes in the regular program. We will now only accept resident students in Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 4 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into Satoo School’s attendance area, and only if Jan Reimer School's grade is also full, from their attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or if you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.

Satoo School offers inclusive programming and a Connections program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Our students are organized into a variety of learning groups with both combined and straight grade classes. French as a Second Language is offered in Grades 4, 5, and 6. Authentic student leadership opportunities are provided for all to enhance school culture and community. Our safe and caring environment is enriched by integrating leadership, character development and emotional regulation strategies through our Satoo STARS acronym: Strength, Trust, Attitude, Respect, Success. Satoo STARS welcome, learn and grow together!

Principal's Message

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Satoo School!

Satoo School offers inclusive programming and a Behaviour and Learning Assistance program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Teachers differentiate instruction to meet students' varying levels of ability and offer a variety of supports to help them achieve the highest level of learning possible. Our students are organized into a variety of learning groups with both combined and straight grade classes. French as a Second Language is offered in Grades 4, 5, and 6.

Our safe and caring environment is enriched by integrating leadership, character development and emotional regulation strategies through our Satoo STARS acronym: Strength, Trust, Attitude, Respect, Success. Authentic student leadership opportunities are provided for all to enhance school culture and community.

We are very fortunate to have many parents support our students and we have an active School Council. All parents are welcome at our monthly School Council meetings. We encourage our current families to check SchoolZone regularly for school news, class news and division news.

Your children are the greatest asset in this world and their success depends on all of our support. Together we make amazing things happen. I look forward to engaging experiences with our school community in the months ahead!
