Satoo Parent Involvement Group (SPIG)

One of the groups working in collaboration with our school is our Satoo Parent Involvement Group (SPIG). This group of volunteers acts as a link between parents and staff. They meet on a monthly basis and provide support to students in the classroom in a variety of ways. Thanks to their fundraising efforts, we have current technologies, Field trips and busses subsidized, library and home reading books and more that benefit the learning of all students. Traditionally there are special events that are also organized by SPIG volunteers for all of our families to enjoy.

Satoo School Council

A School Council is a group of parents, teachers, staff and community members who work together to provide input on various school matters and support the vision and mission of the school. The School Council does not replace SPIG but endeavours to complement their activities and direction. Both groups meet around the same table every month—usually the third Tuesday of each month. All parents are welcome to attend. Watch SchoolZone for more detailed information.
